There is something I love about Celtic music. It has such a relaxing and beautiful sound to it. It also reminds me of movie favorites like, "Titanic" and "Ladder 49". I know that music can be such a personal choice, but I believe that Songs from the Heart by Celtic Woman is going to be a hit with anyone that hears it.

Celtic Woman is a group of 5 women that all bring something special to the table. The voices on this CD are some of the prettiest I have heard. Of course, the instrumentals add so much to the beauty of the music. Songs from the Heart offers listeners music from Irish classics to amazing contemporary covers like Sting's "Field of Gold" and Mariah Carey's "When You Believe."

I personally have a couple of favorites from this new CD. The rendition of "Amazing Grace" is one of the most beautiful ones I have heard. The vocals and music on this track will have you closing your eyes and singing along. The other favorite I have is "Goodnight My Angel". It is a cover for Billy Joel's song. I had never heard Billy Joel sing it, but when I heard it from Celtic Woman, it brought tears to my eyes. As a mom, this is a lullaby that will melt your heart. I have already started learning the words so I can sing it to my little ones.

Celtic Woman is currently touring including dates at Radio City Music Hall. They have sold over 3.8 million records in the U.S and have had 7 sold-out US Tours. After listening to this new CD Songs from the Heart, I can see why. They have definitely made a fan of me. This new CD is available in stores now.
