I am sure some of you have noticed the new banner and button for "Thankful Thoughts for the Holidays." I had all the best intentions of posting one thankful thought a day until the 24th. Unfortunately, sometimes things don't work out the way I always plan. So, here I am on the 5th making my first post. :)
My hope is that you guys may want to join in and write posts that talk about what you are thankful for this holiday season. If you do, just write your post, grab the button and link back here. You can do it once, twice or as often as you have something to be thankful for. If you don't want to link up, then you are welcome to just come and visit me.
Last night our family went to an Avs game. The Avalanche are Denver's Hockey team for those of you that don't know. As we got to the game, it was so much fun to see our little boy so excited about his 1st hockey game. These are the moments that you look forward to as a parent. We had all of us there, including my sisters family and of course grandma and papa! Our little girl even turned a new corner and allowed grandma and papa to hold her. It was kind of nice to give mamas hip a break. LOL

I am so thankful to have moments where I get to spend quality time enjoying my family. Making memories are so important to me. Being at the game I watched as my dad got to snuggle with his granddaughter. My son was adorable as he ate cotton candy and cheered for his team. Grandma melted as she had a third grandbaby climb onto her already full lap. As for me, I just sat and took it all in. I am never happier than when my family is happy. The joy of knowing we are all together and enjoying each other...That is priceless to me.

What fun! Nothing is better than watching your family enjoy themselves, especially when you are together! Your Dad looks fantastic. So happy you had a great time!

Do you know how sweet those photos are? Well, of course you do. But, that's an event to be thankful for, for sure. :)
