Brandi Carlile, Give up the Ghost CD Review

Listening to music is such a personal thing. Everyone has a certain type of music that they love, usually more than one. That is why it is hard to try and say whether a certain type of music is good or bad. I was able to download the new CD, Give up the Ghost by Brandi Carlile through One2One Network. I had never heard of Brandi Carlile, so I was excited to try something new.

Brandi Carlile's last album, The Story, debuted on Billboard's Top 200, peaking at #2 on iTunes. Her songs have also been featured on various episodes of "Grey's Anatomy". So, it turns out I must have heard some of her songs and just not realized it. I know this, because I never miss an episode of Grey's!

Her voice sounds very folk or bluegrass in my opinion. This is not the type of music I normally purchase for myself, but I still enjoyed listening to her music. I don't know that there are a lot of artists I won't listen to. I would suggest you visit her site and listen to a few of her tracks to see if her music is your cup of tea! Her childhood idol Elton John duets with her on her new album, Give Up The Ghost. Who doesn't love him?
